Hand-glazed in deep cobalt blue with teal pooling, the body is richly decorated with hand-embossed florals, concentric circles, scrollwork and dot motifs covering every surface — a labour-intensive decorative technique characteristic of the finest mid-century Italian ceramic studios.
Signed 'Italy' with original product code to base, and in remarkable condition for its age, this is a significant and hard-to-find collector's piece."
